What to Expect in a Brainspotting Session:
During a Brainspotting session, your therapist creates a safe space for you to explore. Together, you’ll pinpoint a specific situation or memory. Your therapist observes where your eyes naturally go, then guides you to focus on an emotionally charged ‘gaze spot’. As you stay focused, they help you mindfully process thoughts, feelings, and sensations. This can lead to uncovering deeper issues and achieving breakthroughs.
