Hypnotherapy

Integrative Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilises hypnosis to help individuals achieve positive changes in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, combined with other techniques such as parts work, CBT, and Gestalt, to name a few. And yes, you are in control throughout the process.

During hypnosis, the therapist induces a relaxed state of heightened focus and concentration, known as a trance, in the client. In this state, the client becomes more open to suggestions and is better able to access their subconscious mind.

Hypnotherapy can be beneficial in reducing stress and promoting relaxation. By inducing a trance state, the therapist can help the client achieve deep relaxation, alleviate stress-related symptoms, and develop coping strategies.

Hypnotherapy can aid in processing and resolving emotional trauma, phobias, and anxiety disorders but also enhance performance in various areas such as sports, academics, or public speaking.

Your eyes will be closed during the hypnotherapy session, so it doesn’t matter whether you’re in my office or virtually, the results will be the same, transformative, and lasting! The key to solving the problem is the level of comfort during the session.

Brainspottng

What to Expect in a Brainspotting Session:

During a Brainspotting session, I create a safe space for you to explore your embodied emotions. Together, you’ll pinpoint a specific situation or memory, we observe where your eyes naturally go, then I will guide you to focus on an emotionally charged brainspot. As you stay focused, this help you mindfully process thoughts, feelings, and sensations. This can lead to uncovering deeper issues and achieving breakthroughs.

Brainspotting is particularly effective with trauma-based situations, helping to identify and heal underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral conditions. It can also be used with performance and creativity enhancement. Brainspotting gives the therapist access to both brain and body processes. Its goal is to bypass the conscious, neocortical thinking to access the deeper, subcortical emotional and body-based parts of the brain.
